Gyudon (per serving)

  • 150 gms Beef Sukiyaki Cut 
  • 1/2 white onion – sliced
  • 2 cups cooked Japanese rice or any rice
  • 1/2Tablespoon olive oil
  • Sauce
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 teaspoon dashi powder
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon sake or cooking wine (good to have)
  • 1 Tablespoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoon ginger juice (optional)
  • 3 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 egg – semi-scrambled
  • 1 Tablespoon red pickled ginger for topping
  • 1 Tablespoon leeks – thinly sliced for topping
