- 1 kg beef chuck, cubed / shortribs, cubed / ox tongue, cleaned
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 piece large white onion, sliced
- 150 gm tomato paste or two 200 gm tomato sauce (add as needed)
- 2 cups water (add boiling water as needed after boiling until tender)
- 1 piece large potato cubed (for chuck and shortribs)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 pieces bay leaves laurel
- salt to taste
